Long story short: There's LEGAL and there's SHOULDN'T BE LEGAL BUT IS. NBA rule writers, get your job done, nobody watches a basketball game for a guy trying NOT to get his shot off when he drives. His perimeter dance can be fun but the armhook ends it for me. I've seen instances where his gather was too late or he had an extrs step but it's not called because the refs were told he's got it right most of the time and NOBODY can ref that in real time. They are only willing to copy hardens bending of the rules and rule manipulation because they have to just to compete, if you actually respect the game of basketball and it’s rules these days your going to get left behind by the ones who are cheating to get more points, more plays, and all around better stats. People can’t keep up with cheaters in any sport or video game of they don’t cheat too. This is far from the lure sport I once knew and loved as a 6’7 division 1 college basketball player before I fucked my knee cap and tendons beyond repair my junior year. I can’t even stomach the nba anymore, all these things you discuss are one of the big reasons I only watch college sports, pro ball sports are totally ridiculous and no pros play for the love of the game anymore, only for money and attention, period. Nobody can contest that as a obvious fact these days with pro ball sports in the last decade, it wasn’t anywhere near the circus show it has become in the last 10 to 12 years!!

0 step is a total bullshit rule, they have literally changed the words to allow high scoring games and even higher flying and exciting plays. Even when they do utterly shatter the rules they won’t be ever called for it if they are a player that people recognize, especially if your a superstar.
